Nattravnen
Just noticed that Bedrolls (both regular one and bearskin bedrolls) will degrade significantly after a wolf attack (If there's a torn clothing affliction). Considering we are not actually "wearing" those bedrolls.... it makes no sense to me. I mean clothes won't get torn when not worn, so why bedrolls? Is this supposed to happen? Scyzara
Just wanted to add that the same problem also happens during bear attacks. @Nattravnen is right: For some reason, the "torn clothing" affliction doesn't only degrade the clothes you wear but also the bedrolls in your inventory. Wastelander
Can confirm this - I intentionally struggled with a wolf to do this, which wasn't my best idea I ever had.
Wasteland Watcher
Day after I arrived at PV I got mauled by a bear and in addition to seriously damaging and/ruining most of my clothes it decided to go through my pack and shred (ruin!) my bearskin bedroll which was previously at 100%. I just attributed it to the animal going through my pack looking for food. I was forced to go back a few weeks later after I had recovered and shoot the bear in the head to get it's hide to replace the bedroll it had ruined
