Hello everyone!

So... uh... where do I start...

I'm Resethel, 20yo, reincarnated a dozen of time, I'm now surviving for a almost 50 days, wandering, exploring, experimenting near-death experiments........

I'm of the nomadic type, I don't like to stockpile what I need, close myself in a single.... I travel, discover, struggle... That's my way of surviving. And that's thrilling.

 

This game as something many other don't have, something close to a soul, something thrilling. It makes one... reflect on themselves, their loneliness, their humanity ( for some at least ahahah ). I'm literally hooked to it.

I'm really eager to join this community, and I hope you all will tolerate my presence here. And also impatient to see how TLD will develop in the future!

Since you like to wander more than build a base, do you have a favorite route or path you like to travel in the game?

welcome to the forums! the community is always glad to have a new face around

i kind of have the best of both worlds, myself. i find a great location to settle down and make base in, then i survive at that one spot for as long as i can (usually 20 - 30 days at a time) and then once supplies are diminished i pack up and head on my jolly way to find new adventures! im not gonna stay in the same location for months and months and starve and struggle to survive staying there.

My favorite road? I would say, it's the one I'm currently establishing.

I started at Mystery Lake, staying a bit for gathering some basic equipement in order to survive, like at a hunting knife, wood, some food and drink, then following the rail tracks, to the dam, struggling with Fluffy, then going straight through Ravine, eventually wander a bit there. Once at Coastal Highway, I enjoyed finding a way to the sea, then follow the road, eventually to reach some shelter for a few nights. If it wasn't for a brutal wolf attack, I would have went past the Crumbling Highway, but guess I'm back at Coastal Highway!

It makes a kind of nice progression and immersion into the game in my opinion, and I love it ahah
