Game crash/lockup issue

I'm not used to this kind of issue with this game as it has been a very stable platform, aside from minor bugs, but this time the game had become completely unresponsive.  I was walking up a slope in PV, only a few days into a new game with Stalker difficulty.  I have found the log file and will attach here.  I'm on a Win10 64x.  Let me know if you need any more info...

Have you changed or updated your video card drivers recently?

No, I've checked the driver and it says it's running the most up to date version.  But, I looked on the Intel website and it says there is an update from 4/29/16, but when I try to install it, I get an error message saying something along the lines of, "your computer's manufacturer does not allow this update" or some such thing, which makes no sense to me.  I am running the Intel HD Graphics Family 4400 for 4th generation core processors.

This is the driver I'm trying to install...

I couldn't contact Intel support last night, but am trying right now to find out what may be causing this driver to not work.

In the mean time could I get you to try running the game in DX9 mode? If you go to the TLD install directory there is a TLD DX9 batch file, just double click that and the game will launch and force itself into DX9 mode, which should circumvent the issue until we can find out what's going on/Intel can resolve your driver issue. Our team is looking into this on our end as well, in case there is anything on our end that may be causing the issue.

Ok, I finally got the updated driver to install...  had to force the install for some reason, but the graphical issues I was having outside the game seem to have been resolved, so maybe this will make the game run without issues...  I will let you know if anything else happens and will try that suggestion of the DX9 mode if it happens again.
