Cannot launch the long dark

I got the game around January and everything was fine then with about 3 playthroughs but I wanted to wait until story mode to get back into it. Well I got the itch to play again but it wouldn't launch at all. I've hard reset my Xbox and uninstalled and reinstalled the game but that's about all I can do. Any other game and app works fine l.
