Modern day compound bows and arrows

I think adding a rare spawn of a modern day compound bow or crossbow for hunting would be pretty cool.  Also some modern hunting arrows, they could be in limited supply but deal slightly more damage and have more distance and accuracy.

Would make sense, many hunters like to hunt with bows instead of firearms. Simpler, easier and often more effective.

I personally disagree. I'm into Primitive stuff so I definitely have a bias towards these sorts of bows, but I think the point of the game as of now is to depend on yourself. I think that the rifle is already OP, but in a world as unforgiving as "The Long Dark", then maybe xD

A compound bow, while easier to use than a self-bow, are ultimately not very practical for long-term survival.

Those steel cords, when they break, will be all-but impossible to replace.
