Wow, outstanding job on this bear challenge imho.  Taken me right out of my comfort zone.  I've used every game play survival trick that I have learned from the hundreds of hours of time I've spent in the sandbox and I still  have yet to make it to the cabin.  This last run ended in disaster in the last push between camp office and the goal of the cabin at Trapper's Homestead.  This being the farthest that I have made it so far, it was a coin toss if I should skirt the map to to the tunnel collapse and then head to the cabin or should I pop over the ridge and seek the shelter of the stove in the Deadfall area?   My strategy so far has been sprinting short distances between cover and ducking into any and all buildings on the way, using whatever resources I can find to mend, repair, rest, eat and drink and, well,  I really thought I was going to make this morning...  :durbear:

Is it just my imagination, but I feel the hairs on my neck stand up when I hear that lumbering low rumbled growl coming from the surround sound speakers circling my "computer/mancave."  Sometimes when i just get inside a building/car in the nick of time, I can feel my heart pounding and my knees are kinda woobly, kinda that same feeling you get when you're driving your car and you just barely avoid having an accident, or that panicky feeling you get when the Trooper's lights pop on out of nowhere and your speeding down the highway cause you wanna get home to play TLD!

In terms of the difficulty, this game feels like a supercharged voyageur mode run.  I'm really kinda liking it, haven't touched any of my other games since it's release.  on a side note, as a gamer, if just the bear challenge was released as just as a stand alone game, I'd buy it!  You really get to see everything that the game has to offer, except rifles and bullets, at least so far for me that is... lol.  Anyways, just wanna know who shot the bear and then blamed it on me?Running_Bear.thumb.png.665d82d5803ac4cd3
