Wow, Home Run Hinterland!

Hey Hinterland Team, 

I just wanted to say, WOW!

I am overwhelmed by the depth and breadth of this update...  so many elements and all with such strong impact on the gaming experience.  I have hundreds of hours in the sandbox and with this update, it just felt like I just started playing a totally different game.  The graphics, the sounds, the soundtracks, the wolf behavior mannerisms, the attention to the extra detail just blows my socks off.  The snow now even seems to have that sound absorbing quality that you find when you wake up to 3 inches of fresh powder in the early morning. If your a skier and making first track is important, you'll know what I mean. I especially love the way the snow rolls off the sides of my boot and leave those little swirls, just like IRL, baby!  The footprints are fantastic, damn son, have you seen the size of those bear prints?  Those wolf paw prints are something to write home about, too!

Been outside in the evening and at night a lot lately, seems like the walls are just crowding in on me, which brings me to the absolutely eerie but beautiful morning and evening colors and the calming hypnotic effect that the snowfall has in the pale moon light.  Fantastic.  Are you guys thinking VR down the road here?  That would be cool... give me a reason to upgrade my pc that my wife couldn't argue with as she likes to play the game as well!

Yup, I fully agree. Congratulations Hinterlands!!!  Looks like this update (from all the comments and feedback I've seen) is a rousing success!!

You definitely can't walk around like superman anymore because you'll get your cape handed to you quickly!!

This update has balanced the game to where you have to be much more cautious and aware of your surroundings than before.

I really like that the "hair stands up on the back of my neck again"!!
