A few thoughts on the update...

I can see you guys have worked very hard on this one, over all its a very nice update!

I could go on and on, but I'll limit my remarks to these:

-climbing rope mechanic, I love that it's game-wide and there's new little spots to discover and explore, now I've got a reason to go and explore all the maps again!

-the textures are look great, I especially like the ice.

-The new music, I think this is my favorite part of the whole update... The piece with the violin really makes it feel so real, desolate, and sad, captures the emotions of the world of the Long Dark very well.

By the way, Raphael, your model of the CANFOR crummy is a very faithful one, it looks good! Can't wait to see what else you have planned for it... Although I have to admit, I didn't expect to find it where I did, looks like it survived just fine though! :jerry_can:

There's a caboose?

I must say I am not happy with the change in wolves and torches and flares. A lot of people relied on the old method of dealing with wolves and now it's not clear how you are expected to deal with them effectively. Wolf bait.

It's not a caboose, but a small self powered crew car, it makes an appearance in the video for the update.

I do miss being able to throw flares, it was handy to get rid of the wolf and send him scurrying in the opposite direction, and when I was done with them it was kinda of satisfying to toss them off someplace high up and watch them fall... My favorite spot for that was the deck of the abandoned lookout in Coastal Highway.

I have noticed wolves will stay back and trail you for a lot longer before attacking, so unless you come face to face with one, chances are you can outrun it.
