grimreefer24601
I would like to be able to discuss modding the game here. Nothing supported officially, but allow us to discuss modding the game we love. I'm not asking for support. I don't want Hinterland to support our unofficial mods. But we are making mods. I'd like to be able to show how here, and maybe some people can post mods. It would be great to get access, or even better a forum.
Scyzara
Are you aware that it's against the Forum Guidelines to talk about hacking the game, no matter for what reason? I very much doubt Hinterland will create a modding forum prior to the date when they decide to officially support mods. And you should better stop talking about it yourself until this very date, let alone teaching others how it's done.
grimreefer24601
If we never push the edge we never find it. That said, I've only asked a question. Added my wish. Besides, I really pushed the guidelines more with other comments. This thread is tame. This thread has so far only asked to speak about "unofficial" modding. I have not shared any info publicly, for awhile now. Because I respect what Hinterland is doing. However, we already do mod this game. Hinterland says they support "official" mods. Because mods have usually been "official". I'm sure all the games Raphael modded were "official". Nope, I'm asking to be allowed to really discuss modding here. What's possible? I think Hinterland will understand.
FINDarkside
Well there's not much to talk if we can't talk about specific mods and we can't talk about making mods so. We can do it somewhere else than hinterland forums though.
Patrick Carlson
As we've said here and elsewhere many times, while we are not against the concept of modding, when we do support it we want to do it "the right way." We would ask that you respect our wishes in this area so that we can produce a stable game experience for our community as we move through Early Access and beyond. Thank you.
