karabass
I have an issue, it happened yesterday and still my game is dead. The game just stopped seeing my keyboard. It's Macbook so the keyboard is built-in and it's working. The problem happened in one of my sandboxes when I was going out of the building. I went out and suddenly realized that the game just ignores all keys - not possible to get game menu, inventory, status, weapons, light, you name it. I clicked my mouse on a door and went back inside the house (and got saved there). I tried all my sandboxes and started a new one - the problem persists, so it's not the save game problem, it's the TLD bug. All other steam games work fine with, btw. And it's possible to use Steam shortcuts to make screenshots, to call "Steam overlay" with shift-tab, that works fine. Also, when I go to "key bindings" in options, I can change keys and here the game recognizes keys and everything is fine. But as soon as I proceed to game itself - keys are not working at all. I tried to "verify integrity and sobriety of game files", then reinstalled game, then restarted computer, then tried all of it again - nothing changed. My TLD still ignores the keyboard completely. If nothing helps (and my experience tell me nothing will) I can wipe all the game files and settings, but I just cant find them. Can you guide me to the place of their residence in MacOS? In the Steam library I see only TLD app and no saves/settings, they must be hidden somewhere (I know they are, but where?) Anyway, I didn't see anybody have same problem, so it looks like I'm the lucky guy. Will be happy to share any details you need.
karabass
And now I've found the source of the problem. It was the "user001" file buried deep in the jungle of OSX file system: /Users/BruceLeeGrandSon/.local/share/Hinterland/TheLongDark - it was really hard to find this ".local" folder, since it's invisible, but pasting the full path in spotlight search brought its content up. I deleted the file and fixed my issue. Cheers! the pic is not mine, but anyway it warms up the frozen hearts

Looking at that screen shot, I can't help but wonder - "Umm, but where do you sleep??"
