Salty Crackers Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Often, I find myself sitting in front of a fire, cooking all my coffee or whatever other drink I have. I waste a lot of time just making drinks. I think they should add a 'cook all' button to save a lot of time. It would still take the same amount of in-game time, but save me a lot of time.
hauteecolerider Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 But then you could cook yourself right into starvation/dehydration and die while happily brewing coffee?
Salty Crackers Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 It's a risk you have to take. It could also be made so you can cook more than 1 at a time, but still not all of your coffee or tea.
Nasdaq401 Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Yes I agree, it really sucks trying to cook up 30 lbs of bear meat, watching that bar fill up and pressing a button after. I can barely take the fire starting bar never mind having to watch it fill up 15-25 times lol.
McGuffin Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 maybe this will be fixed if they do what they say in the roadmap: http://hinterlandgames.com/the-long-dark/roadmap/ Quote Improved Cooking; more of the cooking action happens in-game (vs. in menus); cooking happens in game-time (i.e. not accelerated time), so you can multi-task.
