Surviving Anchorage (Alaska)

Found this while going through the internet.

Its about people surviving anchorage which is the biggest city in Alaska (pop: 300.000), they are homeless and trying to survive outside the city in the forest in their tents and some are dying. Its like TLD in real life. Though some have lost hope and are doing drugs which isnt helping. Others are trying to get back into civilisation even though they are just a few 100 meters away, but civilisation doesnt have room for them. And they are stuck there because its Alaska so they cant just go south or something. Too cold

Heart rending. If TLD had a much darker theme, some of these topics could be incorporated. Reality is, unfortunately, much more dystopian than a commercial video game can be.

Pretty incredible (and tragic) that so many are making their way in the world this way. Hard to imagine dealing with the cold under those conditions.
