6lv1
Hi everybody! I'd like to be able to cut my meat into pieces (with the knife/hatchet) when I decide to eat it. Why would I have to eat a 800 cal Venison piece when I'd like to save the half for later (for whatever reason) Example of problem with 1Kg piece of meat: why using a 1Kg decoy with a wolf which could be okay with 100g ? It would allow me to actually leave the decoy and just run away, for good. Right now I have to... come back to get my meat, cause man... one Kg of meat can make the difference! Proposition : Instead it could be designed as an action on cooked or not cooked meat to cut it, in 2/3/5/10 whatever (not a 1000000 times of course) like with a minimum of 100calories/piece or whatever, you guys find the best way of implementing it I think it's useful, intelligent and so simple. - Maybe little piece of meat would interest less the wolves, giving a higher probability of attack (wolf does not care at all, or does not smell/see it), so that there is still a balance with how much you got to lose to avoid a wolf attack. - Maybe little piece of meat life times should decrease faster than big ones? Would it be any interesting for you guys?
romerabr
You can eat half the meat just clicking [ESC] on PC, or B on Xbox to stop.
vancopower
Yea you can make small pieces to throw at wolves in order to get away from them, why waste whole 1 kg you can cut 10 pieces from that. +
Dirmagnos
If something like hat would be implemented, then chance for wolf to ignore it should also be in the game, dependent on meat piece size. Why would wolf be interested in a thumb-sized piece of meat, when he has whole you. Would be extremely exploitable otherwise - just cut 2 dozen small slices from just 1 piece of meat and youre safe for foreseeable future.

From my first post :- Maybe little piece of meat would interest less the wolves, giving a higher probability of attack (wolf does not care at all, or does not smell/see it), so that there is still a balance with how much you got to lose to avoid a wolf attack. Maybe size of the decoy should also change how much time the wolf takes to "deal with it" giving you more or less chance to run your way out of this bad bad situation. I want to be left alone for sure, I throw a big chunk of meat, I just want to distract and sprint to a door, I throw a little piece and hope that the wolf is getting it. It should be risky and not always predictable.
Rooks_Nemesis
well currently you can like previously stated "cut" the meat by canceling what your doing.. and the meat decoys are already severely broken as is.. You eat 95% of that deer steak.. You then use the last 5% as a decoy.. When you drop the meat it still shows/acts like it was at 100%.

Yah, that's more like a work around which makes the whole decoy thing already too exploitable...
