A new players feedback (Jumping, feeling low, co-op)

Firstly, hello! I bought the game last night after seeing it on a YouTuber's channel (Sips from the Yogscast). It is a very good game and the replay-ability so far looks promising. I know I am the "new guy" and my opinion might not matter much but I wanted to share anyway.

Jumping, as far as I could tell there isn't any jumping in the game? Not that it's needed but it would be nice to have the ability to jump. Even if the game mechanic wouldn't allow you to jump onto anything. I think having the ability to jump makes you feel more in control, if that makes any sense. Not being able to jump feels like a restriction in a game that has so much open world and first person immersion. Having that ability there would feel like you had more freedom and control over your character even if it didn't effect the game play.

Feeling low, walking around I sometimes felt like I was very low on the ground. Almost as if I was chest deep in snow (even though I wasn't). Did anyone else have this feeling?

Co-op, any plans for a co-op mode in the future? I get the whole idea of being alone but having two options of characters to choose from it would be fun trying to survive with a friend. It would add an extra level of difficulty, needing to share rations, gear, etc.

Thank you for taking the time in reading this. I look forward to many more hours of game play!

Hey Striker,

We are on the same boat on the jumping mate. I wouldn't mind it being a really caloric demanding move (makes sense).

Also, absolutely agree on the feeling low thing (forgot to mention it in my post, as after almost 100 hours I'm getting used to it). At first I though it was a simulation of the character's legs getting deep in the snow, but when you walk on Ice it doesn't feel any different. It gives a bit of a weird sensation.

On the co-op, not so sure. For what I've seen on the Steam Community this is one of the hot topics, with both active sides saying it would be great / it would destroy the game. As I'm standing right now, I'd say this game has one of the best single player atmospheres I've seen in a long time, and its mainly based on the lonelyness you endure. I don't think it really needs to look into multiplayer modes (besides some form of leaderboards or community challenges).

Was there a wind? We need to take a look at the PC forum for bugs. Our player slows down a lot in the wind but the perspective thing has more to do with how you aim your view. The cattail stalks for example, are now taller. Look at the horizon (or where it would be) and move through them. Does the perspective seem shorter?
